Graphic Identity
Identifying Ourselves
To establish our identity as a department we have created a single logo that should be used by all in all communications, media, and publications/printed material (flyers, brochures, reports, letterhead, business cards, forms, applications, powerpoint presentations), web sites, and when applicable, on videos, clothing, buildings, and vehicles.
Some Divisions have created logos. These secondary logos should only be used in conjunction with the PSFC initials, name, and/or logo. The benefit of using the their PSFC logo in our communications is that our name in the MIT community and beyond will be recognized and we will all benefit. |

The MIT logo is the primary symbol in the Institute's graphic identity and should be used on all brochures, business cards, stationery, websites, and in most MIT publications. The official Institute seal is a historical symbol that should be reserved for ceremonial use, such as on diplomas or letters from the registrar.
