About the Allis Colleciton
- The Allis Collection was donated to the PSFC Library by William Phelps Allis, an emeritus professor of physics at MIT. Professor Allis was an authority on electrical charges in gases and a pioneer in establishing the modern theory of plasmas. Professor Allis died on March 5, 1999. To read his obituary, click here
