- The PSFC Library obtains and retains those books required and recommeded by professors for course study. These are labelled "Reserve Books".
- Reserve books may be checked out overnight, only: check out after 4:00 p.m., return by 10:00 a.m. next day.
- MIT Main Libraries also sets asides course reserve books
, however their books may only be checked out for 2 hours with a $3.00 per hour fine for late returns.
