- The PSFC Library obtains and retains those books required and recommeded by professors for course study. These are labelled "Reserve Books".
- An item may be occasionally listed as "Reserve" in our catalog, when in fact it is not currently being used for a class. If so, the overnight time restriction does not apply.
- Reserve books may be checked out overnight, only: check out after 4:00 p.m., return by 10:00 a.m. next day.
- MIT Main Libraries also keep course reserve books, however their books may only be checked out for 2 hours with a $3.00 per hour fine for late returns.
- The PSFC Library does not impose fines for late returns. Please honor your fellow students by returning items so that others may have access to them.
- Important Note: The PSFC Library call number may differ from that of MIT Main Libraries.
