Obtaining Copies of Patents The Library staff can obtain copies of patents for you; please contact us. Patent Databases - U.S. Patent Office Databases:
this database now offers all US patents issued since 1790, in the form of searchable patent numbers and current US classifications hyperlinked to full-page images of each page of each patent.
In addition, the Full-Text Database now includes current US classifications (field name "CCL") in place of US classification at time of issue (field name "CLAS"). The current US classification will be updated every two months, in synchronization with PTO's Master Classification File (MCF). - U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
