Alcator C-Mod Weekly Highlights

The maintenance period continued on Alcator C-Mod this week.  Invessel
work on diagnostic systems proceeded.  Work on the LH MIE Project and
the ICRF transmitters continued.


Operations
----------

Long pulse tests of the ICRF transmitters have been successfully
completed with 1.5 MW 4 s long pulses produced.  The GA dummy load
will be returned to GA this week.  Work also continued on the LH HVPS
crowbar.  Tests of the klystrons with the HVPS will begin as soon as
this work is completed.

Invessel work on the lower halo Rogowski, outer divertor probe array,
and MSE diagnostic continues. Information gathered during the high
current, high field discharges from the last campaign is being used to
model the forces on invessel components, and plan improvements to be
made to hardware during this up-to-air period.

We continued upgrade work on the TF tap and TC leads.  Upgrade work
on the LN2 sump is also progressing.

Preparations are being made for the flywheel inspection planned for
late February through mid March.
