Machine Testing Procedure
			     version 2/11/97


	The following tests should be done after every major
	machine assembly step including mounting plate, wedge
	plate, dome, and cylinder installation etc.


	. ring/hi-pot PF coils



	. ring/hi-pot TF when possible



	. check TF turn-to-turn/first-to-last isolation



	. ring/hi-pot OH



	. check OH coax for joint resistance and ground fault



	. check all heaters and thermocouples

		. check heater continuity/resistance

		. check thermocouple operation

		. check for ground faults



	. check OH flux loops for continuity and ground fault



	. check OH position coils for continuity and ground fault



	. check cooling lines and connections



	. check vacuum vessel electrical isolation
