ECDC in D2 overnight

Run starts at Noon
Power systems as on 1010612014.

Gas setup:
fill B-top with 6 psi of D2 Hybrid enabled (PG4)
fill B-side lower with 1 psi of Ar Hybrid enabled (PG1)
fill B-side upper with 30 psi of D2 Hybrid DISABLED (PG2)
fill C-side with 30 psi of D2 Hybrid enabled (PG3)
fill J-bottom with 30 psi of He Hybrid DISABLED (PG5)

Enable the following gate valves: ECE, DNB, and VUV.

Open the Z-bolo shutter for plasma shots (closed during ECDC).

Be set up for between-shot ECDC.

Run plan:

The goal of the run is to continue bringing J-port into full
operation.

Summary

In vacuum, we had a number of arcs localized to FMIT#4 phase shifter
that appeared to cleanup. The antenna was conditioned to 32 kV prior
to the run. J-port power was increased to 1.5 MW into H-mode but the
still has numerous faults. D-port was completely unreliable in stark
contrast its last operation (1010608).

Summary:

This was a tough run from the physop point of view. We started at about 1:00
pm. J-port had vacuum conditioned in the morning.

The run started with 4 duds followed by 4 fizzles. Then we got 3 plasmas, a
fizzle, a dud and finally a plasma. All field and gas changes were small.

A leak started to open up around 2:30 pm, and by the end of the run, mass 28
was at 1.2e-7 on the RGA.

After the run, it was determined that parts of F-port were iced up.

The RF did run on the 4 plasmas.
