This run is designed to complete MP 317, which is to flesh out the data set for
the off-axis heated ITBs. Once boronization recovery is complete, we will
using 70 Mhz rf to form ITBs at 5.5T, later adding 80 Mhz to heat the center.

Overall, this run was successful. Of 33 shots, we had 2 data system tests
and 1 fizzle. Everything else was a good plasma.

The fact that there was no time for post boronization conditioning of the
rf may have impeded us in getting steady power out of H-mode in the early
part of the run.

There were a number of very good ITB shots. Shots 17, 21, 23, and 26
were especially good. Shots 16 and 18 had good ITBs also but had too much
central rf power to maintain the ITB.

C-Side 30 psi D2 Hybrid Enabled (PG3)
J-Bottom as is, Hybrid DISABLED

Enable the following gate valves, assuming no vacuum problems:

Run Plan:

The idea is to get more data on low-field side resonance ITB's.
Start from 1021011004 a 5.4T ITB shot with 70MHz ICRF (low-field side resonance). Once the
ITB is estblished, we will begin adding power from D&E incrementally.

Summary:

The machine ran very well today. POstboronization recovery took one shot - we lowered the prefill
before first plasma shot and it still was a fizzle. Next shot, with yet lower prefill (18 ms of PG4)
went fine, and we did not have any startup problems since. The fill had to be lowered again
after the first good shot to adjust the rate of current rise, and reajusted several times
in the course of the day. Otherwise - no sturtup tweaking was required.
