Goal:

Investigate antenna pressure limit and investigate range of operation for
given neutral pressure.

Plan:

Use near "standard" LSN (1070608017)

1. scan plasma density -> establish density range
start at nl_04~0.7->1.4 or neutral limit
2. scan plasma current - does it effect neutral limit
3. neutral pressure limits with He plasmas (will need to pump out B-main and fill with 32 psi of 4He)
4. if time available, neutral pressure limits with plasma shape

pump out NINJA and backfill with 8 PSI of D2, then disable.

Enable the following gate valves and shutters, assuming no vacuum problems:

Enable DNB gatevalve if requested by DNB operator.

Run summary

The run was limited by a fizzle problem that persisted all day but we did complete a current scan from 0.6 -> 1 MA at 5.4 T. We were unable to reproduce the neutral pressure limit current dependence observed during operations in other experiments. In the past we have seen large variations (0.1 - 0.6 mTorr) on the neutral pressure limit with plasma current but during this run the limit was fairly constant at about 0.6 mTorr with max at ~0.65 mTorr for 1 MA and 0.6 mTorr for 0.6 MA.

It was a very tough day for the physop. The startup was very difficult to reproduce. Small changes to prepuff,
EF4 current, and even Br0 were made throughout the day to attempt to tune up the startup to no avail. Some
shots went fine and the startup looked great, but the next shot almost always fizzled sometimes with several
fizzles in a row and never with more than two plasmas in a row. Shot 6 also failed because the TF failed for
unknown reasons. The shot summary is below with a total of 13 plasmas, 19 fizzles, and 1 power supply fault.
