Run Summary

The high point of the day was 005. We completed a comparison between
two USN discharges with upper triangularity of 0.4 and 0.66. We
noticed that disruptions were more likely with the lower value of
upper triangularity. We also had to turn off the LH with the ICRF and
move the coupler back because of localized heating on the coupler. We
moved to LSN discharges and operations were significantly more
difficult. Operations became even worse at 1 MA compared to 0.8 MA
and may be related by antenna voltage. The H/D level shows signs of
peaking. Comparing discharges 012 and 027, the latter had slightly
lower final H/D value than the earlier discharge.

Position was set to 1630 or 2.413 back from limiter.

We will set up and run conditioning shots today in piggyback with ICRF.
