Shot plan

We will be adjusting a bit to account for the loss of the DNB

1. reload 1080219013 (Ip~0.8 MA, nl_04~0.5) inject 2 MW of ICRF into
0.6 MW LH discharge - develop fiducial for comparison with MCEH
discharge.

2. 1080404030 USN discharge: Power ramp J antenna from 0.5-3 MW during
0.8 MW LH discharge

ICRF terminates first on first pulse
LH terminates first on second pulse
3. constant LH, scan modulated ICRF power from 0.5 to 4 MW

4. scan density with LH power and modulated ICRF power

5. scan B field

6. scan impressed n||

After some adjustments to the CNPA aperature, we switched to USN
discharge to stay out of H-mode but we still had significant density
evolution with both the LH and ICRF (J antenna). We took a series of
pulses to try to condition the machine to reduce this density
increase, 006-011. We made two fiducial disharges for latter
comparison with MCEH discharges (steps 1 and 2). We also had a series
of discharges with modulated ICRF with constant LH power. At high
power, the CNPA data looks reasonable despite no DNB. Using 2 MW of
ICRF, we then began to explore parameter space to investigate
potential LH damping on fast ions and have partial data from 4
conditions.

Only the leak marred C-Mod operation today ( Also, see the physop notes for run 1080404). According
to the RGA, N2 increased continually after shot 017 and 019 was a fizzle. After that, it was necessary
to keep the cooling as low as practical so that N2 would remain low.
The first two shots in this run were LSN for which the reference shot was 1080219013. These were
going into H-mode. The SL wanted to avoid that to simplify analysis of the data. Subsequent shots
(003 - 032) were with USN. The reference shot was 1080403030.

Several shots (006-012) at low density were required to degas the RF antenna so that the density
would not rise during the pulse.

There was a density scan from shot 027 through 029.

Injections caused disruptions in four shots (004,007,008,022
