The purpose of these experiments is to use the modified HiREX Sr. Spectrometer to analyze the impurity transport in H-Mode plasmas. The shots below are designed to scan in collisionality, input power, and density.

LSN Reference shot: 11100303019 (for equilibrium only, see below for RF, Bt, etc.)
Cryopump: On
Working Gas Species: D2
Argon puffing for Er profiles from HiREX Sr.
Laser Blow-Off: Yes
Density: nl04 of .6, 1.0e20
Boronization Requested: Yes
Standard ECDC Overnight

Toroidal Field: 5.4 T
Plasma Current: .4, .55, .7, ,.85, 1.0 MA

ICRF Power:
D & E antennae: 80 MHZ, maximum power
J-antennae: 78 MHz, maximum power needed to supplement D and E to get to 4 MW

Required Diagnostics:
Thomson Scattering (ne and Te)
ECE (Te)
TCI (ne)
Soft X-ray arrays (all 4)
McPherson (setup to view the peak of the Li-like Ca (~r/a = .6 to .7 )
HiReX Jr. (setup to view He-like 3.177 Angstrom Ca line at a core view)
HiReX Sr. (setup using the Ca crystal for viewing He-like Ca and generating charge state density profiles, if possible, rotation information, Er profiles and Ti measurements can be obtained from the He-like Ar)

Requested Diagnostics (not required but desired)
Reflectometry
LLNL (XUES) Spectrometer (at lowest possible integration time)
PCI Setup for low k fluctuations

1)
Target is Steady State EDA H-Mode: Ip=1.0 MA and L mode target nl04=1e20
Target shot is: 2 RF steps (2.0, 3.0, MW @ .5 and 1.1 sec)
Injections at: .8, 1.2 sec

Raise RF steps to 3.5 and 4.0 MW and repeat shot
The above current scan is chosen to measure the extremes first and then fill in the current scan.

2)
Target is Steady State EDA H-Mode: Ip=.7 MA and L mode target nl04=1e20
Target shot is: 2 RF steps (2.0, 3.0 MW @ .5 and 1.1 sec)
Injections at: .8, 1.2 sec

Raise RF steps to 3.5 and 4.0 MW and repeat shot

3)
Target is Steady State EDA H-Mode: Ip=.4 MA and L mode target nl04=.6e20
Target shot is: 2 RF steps (2.0, 3,0 MW @ .5 and 1.1 sec)
Injections at: .8, 1.2 sec

Raise RF steps to 3.5 and 4.0 MW and repeat shot
*Note: If at low current the impurity confinement time is short enough (75ms or less) then 3 injections (.7, .95, 1.2 sec) and 3 RF steps (2, 3, and 4 MW) will be attempted in a single shot.

Target is Steady State EDA H-Mode: Ip=.55 MA and L mode target nl04=.8e20 (estimated 6 shots to achieve)
Target shot is: 2 RF steps (2.0, 3.0, MW @ .5 and 1.1 sec)
Injections at: .8, 1.2 sec
