The goal is to get mode conversion measurements at high core H fraction that we did not get naturally with wall fueling. The toroidal field will be increased to keep the hybrid resonance close to the axis at higher concentrations. Try to go to as high concentration as possible as the antennas permit (n_H/n_e ~50%, ~6.5 T).

1. Try to reproduce the results from 1101015 (4-5 shots)
Start from shot 1101015022 (0.8 MA, 5.6 T, nl04 = 0.8, USN). RF waveforms:

D:0.6-0.9 s, E:0.9-1.2 s, J:1.2-1.5 s, 0.5 MW (1)
D:0.6-1.5 s, 1.0 MW (2)

Raise the field to 5.77 T. Repeat the waveform (2).

2. Concentration scan
Start H puff. Raise the field to 6.0 T. Try to get to the highest concentration first, and work our way down. Use the waveform (1). Do a few 1 MW, full-length shots along the way, as well as LSN. Bt to keep hybrid resonance around

78.0 MHz - 0.70 m
80.5 MHz - 0.68 m,

5(-10)% - 5.6 T
20% - 5.9 T
30% - 6.2 T
40% - 6.4 T
50% - 6.6 T (6.5 T ok).

Started from 0.8 MA, 5.6 T, nl04 = 0.8, USN (repeat of 1101015022), 0.5 MW. Observed fluctuations were 5 - 10 times smaller this time. Increasing the D antenna power to 1.0 MW increased the signal, opposite of 1101015. D at 5.77 T, which has the same resonance location as J at 5.6 T, did not see much reduction in the fluctuation. However, 5.6 T did not show any reduction this time, and this doesn't say too much. Started H puff from shot 5, but barely any change in the H fraction at the beginning. Starting from shot 14, we got n_H/n_e above 0.2 up to 0.28. Fluctuation intensity did not change very much, while the signal width got significantly larger, which is expected from full-wave simulations. No electron (ECE) or H absorption (CNPA) could be seen at this high concentration at a 1.0 MW power level. Stop H puff at shot 23 and let it come down for the rest of the shot. n_H/n_e ~ 0.17 (PCI) at the end of the run.

A successful run. Most parts in the SL-plan were accomplished.

By puffing H2 at 12 psi (B-side-upper) from 0.2 to 1.5 sec, we achieved H/(H+D) around 30%, and the level came back down slowly.

At the end of the run, the value from H_alpha/(D_alpha+H_alpha) was about 15%
