good density scan, from 1.3 tp 0.5 at 0.8 MA, shots 10-22. at high densities, above 1.0, in SOC, the heat pulse propagation was diffusive and core rotation was counter current. at low densities, below 0.75, in LOC, the core Te perturbation was an increase (with a drop at the edge) and the core rotation was co-current. shots 24, 25 and 26 had density ramps and the LOC/SOC transition occured dynamically during the course of the discharge. some discharges showed an increase in core Ti. for shots 28, 30, 31 and 32, there were density ramps, with 1.1 MA, with similar results, except the LOC/SOC transition was at higher density. a more detailed analysis will have to deal with the issue of sawteeth. this run was in collaboration with HJ Sun from NFRI.

Physop Report, Run 1120106 for MP 672 Nonlocality and possible correlation with rotation reversal The run consisted of a density scan covering linear and saturated Ohmic regimes. Calcium injection was used to probe for nonlocality as evidenced by the appearance of the anomalous cold pulse. Locked mode shots were used for rotation calibration. The plasma setup for the density scan was based on 1120105019 (LSN, BT = 5.4T, IP = 0.8 MA, nl_04=0.9e_20). nl_04 demand and ip were varied during this run. Some PG3 was in the original segment 2 for this shot and was removed to allow the density to be scanned to low values. No other changes were made to the basic setup. Locked mode shots were used for rotation calibration. The setup for the locked mode shot is based on 1111215017. The locked mode shots were 008,009,024. Typically four calcium injections were used on each shot. The first was near 0.8 s with the others following at 0.2 s intervals. Computer problems caused loss of the first couple of hours of the run.
