| We are going to try and calibrate the various valves and plena to be used in tomorrow's run for impurity seeding.
The idea is to cross-calibrate H-bottom, B-side-lower, B-div and H-div by filling them all to the same pressure Ne, injection for 100 ms using 75% duty factor, and looking at the pressure rise in the vessel. That will be compared to the pressure drop in the individual plena. |

We're going to do several gas-into-empty-torus shots to calibrate four different gas valves (B-side-lower, H-bottom, B-divertor, H-divertor), corresponding to PG1, PG5, PG6, PG7). The plena have been loaded with 20 psi of neon, and a 100 ms pulse starting from t = -1.9 s has been loaded into all the corresponding valve waveforms in seg 1. The waveform amplitude is 75. Gas Setup: leave B-Top as is Hybrid DISABLED (PG4) fill B-side lower with 20 psi Ne Hybrid enabled (PG1) leave B-side upper as is Hybrid DISABLED (PG2) leave B-main (C-side) as is Hybrid DISABLED (PG3) fill H-bottom with 20 psi Ne Hybrid DISABLED (PG5) fill B-div with 20 psi Ne Hybrid DISABLED (PG6) fill H-div with 20 psi Ne Hybrid DISABLED (PG7) leave NINJA as is DISABLED Torvac setup: keep gate valves closed for 25 seconds after pulse |
