SL-plan: MP355, ICRF conditioning Purpose: 1. check out the recently repaired and re-configured transmission line of the J antenna. 2. Condition the J antenna to high power. 3. Running all ICRF antennas to condition the machine and to reduce the H/D level. Plasma: Reload shot 1120523032. It was an upper-single-null plasma. 800 kA, 5.4 T. Start J-antenna at low power (400 kW total, 400 ms) and check out whether there is reduction in the standing wave voltage. Run D/E at 2 MW total separately. DNB may work piggyback to check out beam problems.

The machine ran well. The main gas valve was replaced before this run. A new piezo initially does not open well and tends to become normal as it is is used. This results in too much pre-puff in shot 3 and ended up in early disruption in this shot. This disruption blow off 6 fuses of OH1 PS. Also IGOR canceled the shot sequence twice, today. Other than these two events, the machine operation went well smoothly. Among total 30 attempt and we got 23 full pulse length plasma w/o disruptions. J-port seems to couple about 2MW of ICRF power. BUT I think this method of adjusting digitizer ranges does not work, since during the shot, the readout on the web display resets to a range of 10 on all channels. (Note that on Shots 904 on, all three digitizers are stored so that magnetics signals are available.)
