This half run day is to complete MP 702.
We will have shots with steady density for 0.8MA and 1.1MA with CaF2 injection from 0.6 - 1.4s, 10Hz.
We will have shots with density ramping up/down with CaF2 injection from 0.6 - 1.4s, 10Hz.

put 1.5 psi Ar in B-SIDE-LOWER at 0.3s for 200ms for HIREX-Sr

Target plasma: LSN
nl04: varies under different current (see below for details)
Ip = 0.8-1.1MA. I would skip low current(0.55MA).
Bt = 5.45 T

Today we scanned Ip and nl04 shot by shot in order to get Chi Gao some
more cold pulse data from CaF injections. We planned to run about 1/2
day of this experiment, and had a late start to allow the RF team to
work on the E-port FFT bypass. First plasma was shortly after 10:00.

A significant machine issue was a failed capacitor in the EF1 power
supply. Diagnosing this and replacing the unit resulted in about 2.5
hours of lost time. Later in the day there was a data system hang
which was not uncommonly long. But by starting early we were able
squeeze in pretty much the full half day of run time.

Startup was generally well-behaved, except for a few late bounces here
and there.

We got full length flattops at 1.1, 0.8 and 0.55MA, with nl04 ranging
from 0.4 to 0.7e20. Heavy Ar seeding for Hirex Sr was not feasible at
the lowest current, and low density. It led to high radiation, and
early disruptions (see shots 19--21).

Final tally---
Fizzles = 1
Disruption in ramp-up = 1
Disruptions in flattop = 6
Plasmas into rampdown = 11
No power shots = 4

Chi is calling for LSN shots and provides reference discharges for the Ip and
density targets. His prior shots were on 1120106 and 1120720. Looking for
recent discharges with similar shaping, I find fairly close matches on 1120917,
1120907. If I load 1120907028 and change the current and field, I should have
a reasonably close target shot.

Load from 1120907028. Seg 2 is active.
Reduce IP to 8e5 A
Reduce TF to 153000 A
PG3 at 100V from 0.3s to 0.5s (This will be Ar)
Program nl04 ramp from 0.3 to 0.7e20 over the span of 0.5 to 1.5s.

Now import startup from previous day.
Seg 1 of 1120918001 --> Seg 1

Finally, Chi recommends a locked mode to try:
Import seg 4 of 1120830005 into seg 4. (leave seg off)

PLC reads Ar in B-side lower and Chi reports good Ar signal. However,
gas_scope_dpcs.dat is reading 2.25psi Ne --- yesterday's gas settings.

On the bright side, Joe and Yuri have fixed the data logging from PLC to
MDS+, and now the gas scope reads the correct plenum fills.
