MP721, additional half-day run.
contingent on the following:
a. J antenna phases have been corrected;
b. J antenna can provide > 1.5 MW pulse.

A. More NTM studies:

We need to study a case that the NTMs are really limiting the plasma performance... this can only be done with higher power. i.e., beta_N does not increase even with much higher heating..

shot 1: without NTMs (1120927022) that we can increase beta with ramping-up heating..

shot 2: with NTMs (1120927019) that we cannot increase beta with ramping-up heating... and with slow RF ramp-down, NTMs would disappear at certain beta

shot 3: try to avoid NTMs with certain antenna phase that produces smaller sawteeth (or delay sawtooth onset)

B. Flow drive part...

shot 4: find a candidate, that is prone to NTMs. (1120927019)
run J at full power (selected phase) to drive rotation...
then add D/E to trigger I-mode and check rotation...

shot 5: find a candidate that is not prone to NTMs. (1120927022)
run J at full power, and drive rotation....
then add D/E to trigger I-mode and check rotation...

I want to know whether the two rotation will super-impose linearly...
shot 1120927030 seems to have more rotation with J adding onto I-mode...
(there is no NTMs...so they do add together...but the max rot is not sufficient)

shot 6: find a candidate that is not prone to NTMs. (1120927022)
run D/E full power to get I-mode, then add J full power in the I-mode phase...

shot 7: find a candidate that is prone to NTMs. (1120927019)
run D/E full power get I-mode, then add J full power in the I-mode phase

shot 8: check the best condition, try max rotation...

Total 8 good shots (plus shots that are needed to develop the good shots, I need a half run day but no more)

PO Plan for MP#695

1. Load from reference shot#1120927017
Reduce nl04 in flattop from 7e19 to 5e19 - Try to talk SL into higher nl04!
 Increase TF_CURRENT from 142740 to 154000 (5.5T)
Probably need to change B21_PROJ offset from 0 to .0001 as done on 1120927
to avoid locked modes; will need to carefully monitor the shoelace and
  GH limiter heating.
 Increase PG2 (He3) from 100msec to 150msec
 - Scan in He3 puff downward to get to minority regime.
2. Using PG2 puff from step 1, scan RF power. No DPCS change required,
except if we decide to try adding H2, which could go in B-side Lower.
Definitely need to monitor outboard heating and restrict RF energy
   to avoid catastrophic damage.
3. Scan current to
800ka (Probably won't be allowed, based on outboard heating observations)
1.2MA (Probably won't run without locked modes)
4. Ip back to 1MA and can field (resonance location), B=4.8T(134400kA),
                                                        5.3T(148400kA)
5. Try again for a locked mode shot for HIREX, if we haven't already
    had some
6. Density scan nl04 to 7 and 9e19 at 1MA, 5.5T
7. Pump and purge B-main and fill to 40psi He. SL thinks this is going to
give him a calibration, despite prior experience that the changeover
takes of order 10 shots. Maybe we can estimate the residual D2 from
the relative neutron rate; note that the well-calibrated neutron detectors
are killed by RF pickup at 50MHz, so even this is going to be dicey.

**************************************
Contingency PO_PLAN for MP#721 (Flow drive and NTM's)

1. Go back to whatever starting point from 1120927 the SL wants, probably
1120927017 is as good as any.
2. Tweak up as required by SL, again monitoring outboard heating at higher
powers and pulse lengths, as on 1120927
3. Let the RF guys do their thing.

****************************************
Contingency PO_Plan for MP#720 (off-axis I-modes with modulated heating)
1. Load (or import seg2 from) 1120907028 (1.1MA, 8e19)
   Increase BT to 6.1 to 6.3T (TF_CURRENT to 171000, TF_current limit to 180kA)
There is a funny step out on RCUR between and 1.25s and 1.5s; probably
     want to remove it.
Monitor outboard heating. Add Ne (B-side Lower) if it seems necessary,
Add H2 (someplace?) if tail heating seems excessive.
2. If necessary, try to get a locked mode calibration shot for HIREX
3. Follow SL requests for changes, if any.

This run has given us some promising data, despite some frustrating difficulty with the J port antenna which continued to have problems running at high power even after the reconfiguring of the phasing. We took some time figuring out what power level we could reasonably run at, trying different power, electron density, helium-3 puff, and lowering toroidal field. But the only thing that really seemed to help was to go to 270 degree phasing, rather than heating phasing. With 270 degree phasing, we were limited to about 1.5MW power, but it still faulted sometimes. We started to get some good data when we increased the D and E power to 2.5MW, bringing the total power to 4MW. We needed a hot enough plasma to get good heating with the J antenna.

The plasmas ran very well--just two early disruptions not counting locked mode, and plasma conditions were pretty stable. Beam incredibly worked repeatably and faultlessly throughout the entire run, although the beam camac messed up the digitizing for 5 shots and we lost useful beam current and voltage data.

We could definitely see beam enhancements from thermal helium-3 and helium-3 with energies greater than about twice the ion temperature, although some more analysis is needed to see if this tail exceeds a Maxwellian.

Physop summary for Monday, Oct 1, 2012 (or is it Sept 31?)
MP#695 Fast ion production and transport in He3 minority heating and mode
       conversion
SL: Liao
PO: wolfe
EO: Pfeiffer, Fitzgerald, Toland

The machine ran well today, and the beam worked smoothly at 4-5Amps.
The J-port antenna struggled early to deliver power at 50MHz, but
eventually managed to run cleanly up to ~1.5MW, with 270deg phase.
This seemed to be adequate to give the SL some visible He tail signal,
especially with 2.5MW from D&E helping get the Te up. We spent
most of the day at nl04~8e19, higher than orignally requested, but
still apparently allowing observable effects without overheating anything
or running into locked mode problems. A He3 (pg2) puff of 100msec turned
out to be a good choice for minority heating, and most of the day
used this setting.

The first shot (#2) had an early disruption, apparently due to an
injection. On shot#11 the PF breaker pulled during the countdown,
and we had to take a no-power shot; fuses were checked and nothing
was found, and the problem did not recur. Shot#17, at 800kA, 5.0T,
disrupted near crossover. I made an adjustment to the early CLEARIN and
RCUR to avoid/minimize limiter contact at crossover, and reduced the
PG5 (argon), and we didn't have the problem again. All shots after 18,
except the locked mode attempts, had the larger inner gap before 0.5sec.
The H-bottom plenum argon pressure was higher than expected, and there
were indications of excess argon in early shots, namely rampdown
disruptions.

Shots#23 and #24 were at 1.2MA, and disrupted very early in rampdown.
I made some tweaks to the rampdown programming before #25, but then
the SL requested we go back to 1.0MA, so these were not tested. However,
the subsequent 1.0MA shots retained these changes and ran full length,
while the earlier ones had disrupted mid ramp-down.

We had two more tried at a reversed field locked mode calibration shot
on #30 and 31, following the method used on 1120927033 to turn off the
B21_proj rather than overdriving the ACOIL. #30 disrupted early without
a locked mode because of excess Argon (mlr had requested 200msec). Shot#31
gave a locked mode at .8sec and disrupted at .84, which gave enough time
for the calibration. Both these shots were at 5.5T, 900kA. I think if
the current were dropped back to 800kA it might not disrupt.

Shot#27 was supposed to be at 4.8T, but ran at 5.5T because, while I
did the load I had forgotten to APPLY the change on the ALL_V screen
before loading. Interestingly, the RF behavior was much worse on 27 than
on 26, which had identical programming.

Oct 1 2012 10:13:49:100AM1121001002Ken LiaoFirst shot.
Ip = 1000 kA, nl04 = 0.7 m-2, PICRF = 3 MW (J-port 1MW), He3 puff = 150

Beam timing is 75/25, 10 pulses starting at 0.3s
ICRF timing, D+E from 0.5-1.2s, J from 0.6-1.1s.

Early disruption.
The beam also did not fire. Camac error? Also, Roper did not collect data!

Try again
Oct 1 2012 10:23:02:710AM1121001003Ken LiaoFull length plasma,
Beam fired all 10 pulses, 35kV, ~4.7A
got ICRF.
Density rises during ICRF.
Te ~ 4keV at top of sawteeth

Next shot. Same He3 puff. Increase J port power to 1.5MW. Decrease D+E combined power to 1.5MW.

Oct 1 2012 10:59:28:527AM1121001004Ken LiaoFull length plasma,
Beam fired all 10 pulses, 35kV, ~4.7A. Decent beam enhancement.
J port power at 1.5MW. At 1.4s, some J port activity to test how high the power can go.
Density uncontrolled during ICRF.
Te ~ 4.5keV at top of sawteeth

Enhancement somewhat visible at 5keV Doppler shift.

PCI mode conversion signal is at the edge of the window, near 0.77m. See activity near 0.87s. nHe/ne ~ 0.07

Next shot. drop He3 to 100ms. This will probably move the mode conversion resonance out of the PCI window.
I want to stay at 5.5T though for better visibility of fast ions.
Oct 1 2012 11:02:23:700AM1121001005Ken LiaoFull length plasma,
Beam fired into plasma but the beam digitizer failed. We still have clear enhancement, but no beam traces.
Move to next configuration despite loss of beam signals.

We are getting higher heating at 100ms puff than 150ms. Peak Te ~5keV, and we get a strong He CXRS signal at 5keV as well.

PCI signal activity shows up earlier in this shot compared with last shot because He3 density is dropping with time. nHe/ne ~ 0.07 at 0.68s., then it drops out of range of the PCI.

Next shot. drop He3 to 50ms.
Oct 1 2012 11:22:14:103AM1121001006Ken LiaoFull length plasma,
Beam digitizer failed again! This is really worrying. Beam did fire though.
J port did not couple well. Possibly the He3 density is too low?

Got some moly emission later in the shot, possibly because the density is dropping later in the shot.

Try 75ms puff He3, same ICRF power. Hope the beam digitizers will work.
Oct 25 2012 11:13:02:460PM1121001007Ken LiaoJ port still bad.
next shot:
repeat, and hope for better J.
Oct 1 2012 11:53:34:530AM1121001008Ken LiaoFull length plasma,
Beam digitizer failed again! Beam did fire though.
J port did not clean up. Maybe the electron density is too low.

Edgar manipulated some wires on the Beam camac to try to get it to work again.

Next shot, increase density set point to 0.8.

Oct 1 2012 12:19:56:007PM1121001009Ken LiaoFull length plasma,
Beam digitizer failed again! Beam did fire though.
J port worse than last shot.

Recool is taking really long. 15 minutes

Try increasing He3 to 125ms.
Oct 1 2012 12:40:21:957PM1121001010Ken LiaoFull length plasma,
Beam digitizer worked! No explanation for why.
J port still faulting, despite using 125ms He3 puff.

We got an iron injection 0.87s. We see a burst of signal on CXRS camera.

Next shot.
Change he3 puff back to 75ms.
Reduce J power to 1MW. Leave D+E at 1.5MW.
Oct 25 2012 11:13:40:663PM1121001011Ken Liaobreaker pulled. abort shot. try again.
Oct 1 2012 01:17:50:817PM1121001012Ken LiaoFull length plasma,
Beam ok
J port mostly clean at 1MW.
Te at 4-4.5keV at top of sawtooth
Some beam enhancement is visible at 5keV and 7.5keV. Not sure if I can see anything at 10keV by eye.

Coils seem to be cooling faster now.

Next shot.
Repeat this shot for statistics and to see if J-port is repeatable.
Oct 25 2012 11:15:47:190PM1121001013Ken LiaoFull length plasma.
J still at 1MW, but this time it faults partway through.
Oct 1 2012 01:28:53:813PM1121001014Ken LiaoFull length plasma,
Beam ok
J port fired cleanly at 0.5MW. Some faults on D though.
Te at 5keV at top of sawtooth

J ramp at 1.3s makes it up to 1.8MW before faulting.
It looks like the repair of the J port phasing over the weekend may not have fixed the power threshold issue.

Next shot,
J port off. D+E combined power to 2.5MW.
Oct 1 2012 01:42:49:620PM1121001015Ken LiaoFull length plasma,
Beam ok
Some faults on D and E.
Te at 5keV at top of sawtooth
Don't see much enhancement at 5keV.

Next shot.
J to 1MW
D+E = 1.5MW
Ip to 800kA
75ms puff He3
Oct 1 2012 01:58:06:397PM1121001016Ken LiaoFull length plasma,
Beam ok
J port did not run well at 1MW.

Well, J-port isn't getting better, and I don't know if it's worthwhile to do a current scan at 0.5MW J-port, so lets try a field change to see if it helps J.

We'll lose some range on ECE, but don't worry about adjusting GPC for this next shot.

Next shot.
B_t to 5.0T, Ip still at 800kA. J power 1MW.
Oct 1 2012 02:07:25:803PM1121001017Ken LiaoAttempt at 5T shot

Full length plasma
Beam ok

J port still struggling at this field. It doesn't look like field change helped.

However, it looks like 270 phasing may give more stable ICRF based on J port tests at 1.3s. So, we will try again at 5.5T with 270 degree phasing. Power ramps were reaching 1.8MW on J.

Next shot,
B_t 5.5T
270 degree phasing on J, 1.5MW

Oct 1 2012 03:12:07:837PM1121001021Ken LiaoThis time, J port ran cleanly all the way through. Even the power ramp at the end.
Te max ~ 3.25keV.
I don't see much enhancement at 5 or 7.5 keV on CXRS.

I don't think we are getting enough heating with the 270 degree phasing, despite the cleaner J port function. Go back to heating phase and try again.

Next shot.
Same current. Change to heating phase. Still at 1MW power on J. 1.5 on D+E.

J port works adequately, one fault
Te ~ 4keV at top of sawteeth.
Some He3 signal seen at 7.5keV, but not really visible at 10keV.

Next shot.
Try upping the power to increase fast ion population.
Increase D+E to 2.5MW.
Oct 1 2012 04:30:25:843PM1121001026Ken Liaohigher power shot
E port faults a little but J runs cleanly.
I-mode at 0.9s
Te gets up to 6keV.
Despite higher temperature and high neutrons, I see less enhancement on CXRS than shot 25. Is the ICRF heating the ions to the point where I can't see them anymore?

Next shot.
change field to 4.8T
Oct 1 2012 04:41:38:417PM1121001027Ken LiaoField change didn't go through, so it was another 5.5T shot, repeat of previous shot.

He3 beam enhancement at 5keV, plenty enhancement at 7.5keV, but not really visible at 8.5keV or 10keV.

Full length plasma
ICRF did ok
Te at top of sawteeth gets up to 6keV
We have very clear enhancement of He3 at 7.5keV. Enhancement is very marginally visible at 8.5keV.

Beam ran well all day! (except for the digitizers) You da man Edgar!
Thanks Steve, Yijun, Steve, everyone who helped.

Shot#1: Data system test cycle
All normal traces showing up, got gas (seg1 btop, bmain)

Oct 1 2012 10:07:12:690AM1121001002Steve Wolfe
Shot#2: Plasma attempt

Result: Short plasma 0.365sec, PF breaker pulled.
OH1 crowbarred after the disruption
small bounce in startup.
Something comes in at 0.34sec, not sure from where.
Control seems reasonable to that point, not a locked mode,
although nl04 is a little below target.

Next: try again

Oct 1 2012 10:21:02:647AM1121001003Steve Wolfe
Shot#3: try again, no pcs changes
plasma full length, nl04 went up to 1e20, may have been partially
the He3 puff. Got 3MW RF, clean, including J-port at 1MW.

Next: RF is going to raise power on J
No PCS changes

Oct 1 2012 10:36:58:113AM1121001004Steve Wolfe
Shot#4:RF is going to raise power on J
No PCS changes

Result: plasma to 1.7sec, Some D faulting, J ok at 1.3MW, but
faulting at higher power after 1.4sec.
Outboard structures look cool and calm.

Next: drop He3 puff to 100msec

Oct 1 2012 10:48:51:620AM1121001005Steve Wolfe
Shot#5: drop He3 puff to 100msec
Load at 1-Oct-2012 10:39:39.00
Open tree /home/wolfe/pcs_scratch -1
Open tree done

Result: plasma to 1.7sec,
more neuts this time, looks like an I-mode transition around 0.9sec
Beam fired, but no beam data

Next: Reduce He3 puff to 50msec

Oct 1 2012 11:15:16:490AM1121001006Steve Wolfe
Shot#6: drop He3 puff to 50 msec
Increase pg4 from 20 to 22msec in seg1
Load at 1-Oct-2012 10:50:49.00
Open tree /home/wolfe/pcs_scratch -1
Open tree done

Result: plasma to 1.7sec, no I-mode this time.
J was faulting throughout.
Also, no beam signals, although beam may have run?
Startup bounce still there

Next: increase He3 to 75msec

Oct 1 2012 11:31:07:343AM1121001007Steve Wolfe
Shot#7: Raise He3 puff from 50 to 75msec
No startup changes this time.
Load at 1-Oct-2012 11:13:56.00
Open tree /home/wolfe/pcs_scratch -1
Open tree done

Result: plasma to 1.7, again no I-mode, or maybe
a short I-mode phase. J faults through second half of RF pulse,
but stays on ok by itself at 1MW after 1.4sec
Startup better, the power of benign neglect
RF induced density rise has been decreasing shot to shot,
we're actually puffing a little B-main in the last half of the
pulse

Next: repeat, try for steadier RF

Oct 1 2012 11:51:10:793AM1121001008Steve Wolfe
Shot#8: repeat, try for steadier RF

Result: plasma, no I-mode, J faulting after .77sec

Next: try increasing nl04 to 8e19, see if it helps the RF

Oct 1 2012 12:08:45:067PM1121001009Steve Wolfe
Shot#9: try increasing nl04 from 7 to 8e19, see if it helps the RF
NINJA off to avoid interaction with late rf pulse.
Load at 1-Oct-2012 11:52:04.00
Open tree /home/wolfe/pcs_scratch -1

Result: plasma to 1.7s, neuts down some, J still ratty
Worse, if anything. nl04 around 7.5e19.

Next: raise He puff to 125msec

Oct 1 2012 12:27:17:063PM1121001010Steve Wolfe

Result: plasma to 1.75sec
J-port is better, still not good.
DNB camac worked that time, after Ed took a between shot test
and Bob came over and was ready to go in and cycle the crate.

Next: Probably more RF changes

Oct 1 2012 12:44:37:910PM1121001011Steve Wolfe
Shot#11: Decrease J-port to 1MW
He3 puff back to 75msec
Load at 1-Oct-2012 12:31:37.00
Open tree /home/wolfe/pcs_scratch -1
Open tree done

Result: PF breaker pulled out in CHECK,
need to take a no power shot.
Ran the no power with TF breakers still closed
but supply off at PLC. No trigger or programming
from DPCS anyway, since it sat too long in CHECK

Don't know why the breaker pulled, checking
fuses just in case.

Oct 1 2012 12:59:43:183PM1121001012Steve Wolfe
Shot#12: Repeat of #11
Decrease J-port to 1MW
He3 puff back to 75msec

Result: plasma to 1.75s
J almost clean at 1MW during main pulse.
Still faulting out in second pulse, even at lower power
Bad bounce in startup, almost lost it

Next: PG4 from 22 to 24msec, IC_EF4 from 1320 to 1310
Otherwise repeat

Oct 1 2012 01:09:55:360PM1121001013Steve Wolfe
Shot#13: PG4 from 22 to 24msec, IC_EF4 from 1320 to 1310
Otherwise repeat
Load at 1-Oct-2012 13:00:06.00
Open tree /home/wolfe/pcs_scratch -1
Open tree done

Result: plasma to 1.75, possible late I-mode after 1sec
J-faults in the middle, then comes back on.
Last J pulse gets just over 1MW then faults repeatedly
Startup better, no bounce

Next: ?

Oct 1 2012 01:26:07:400PM1121001014Steve Wolfe
Shot#14: Reduce J power to 0.5, raise D&E
No PCS change

Result:plasma to 1.75s
RF looks clean
J runs to 1.8MW on its own at end of flattop
Got another bouncy startup.

Next: J power to zero, raise D&E

Oct 1 2012 01:39:40:260PM1121001015Steve Wolfe
Shot#15: J power to zero, raise D&E to 2.5MW
No PCS changes

Result: plasma to 1.75s, RF faulting toward end of pulse,
Jport alone faulting above 1MW.

Next: Back to 1MW on J, 1.5 on D&E, Ip to 800kA

Oct 1 2012 01:53:30:580PM1121001016Steve Wolfe

Result: plasma full length
EFIT says it no longer touches the inner wall at crossover
Prad is happy again,
J not so much during the main pulse, but gets to 2MW at 1.45sec
before it starts faulting.
Bt was 5.1, rather than 5.0

Next: back to 5.5T and 1MA

Oct 1 2012 02:41:19:533PM1121001019Steve Wolfe
Shot#19: back to 5.5T (154kA) and 1MA,
leave the early gap program and Argon puff as they were on 18
Increase He3 puff to 100msec
Going to 1.5MW from J at 270degree phase

Load at 1-Oct-2012 14:27:52.00
Open tree /home/wolfe/pcs_scratch -1
Open tree done

Result: plasma full length
Bad bounce in startup, almost lost it.
Runaways early. Touches at crossover again
J stays on in main pulse, gets to 2MW on its own, but
heating is down from earlier today.
J-port pickup is showing up on more signals, not sure about
control magnetics

Next: PG4 to 26msec, IC_EF4 to 1300A,
Argon puff to 75msec,
Back to 800kA

Oct 1 2012 02:49:54:887PM1121001020Steve Wolfe

Just kisses the wall at crossover.
A few faults on J at 1.5MW, heating looks pretty low

Next: Repeat with lower J power

Oct 1 2012 03:10:04:797PM1121001021Steve Wolfe
Shot#21: Repeat with lower J power, no PCS changes

Result: plasma to 1.8sec again
Neuts look similar
Startup still looks good
RF ran clean, also the J pulse at EOF ran clean at 2MW
No obvious heating from the J pulse though

Next: try going back to 180degree on J phase at 1MW,
same current, etc.

Oct 1 2012 03:24:52:283PM1121001022Steve Wolfe
Shot#22:try going back to 180degree on J phase at 1MW,

Next: reduce pg4, keep clearin up at EOF

Oct 1 2012 03:52:11:240PM1121001024Steve Wolfe
Shot#24:reduce pg4 from 26 to 23msec
Keep CLEARIN at 0 until 1.5sec, slow down EF4 ramp after 1.5sec
Load at 1-Oct-2012 15:39:50.00
Open tree /home/wolfe/pcs_scratch -1
Open tree done

Change J back to 270 and changing powers from each

Result: plasma to 1.55sec, very similar to 23
More neuts. RF ran almost clean
Te close to 4keV at peak of st

Next: Try slowing down the RCUR ramp after 1.5sec
to try to get rid of rampdown disruption

Oct 1 2012 04:08:01:783PM1121001025Steve Wolfe
Shot#25:reduce pg4 from 23 to 21msec
Try slowing down the RCUR ramp after 1.5sec
to try to get rid of rampdown disruption
Increase OH1 current limits to [-30,30]kA

SL wants to change to 1MA, so those shape and limit changes are moot,
but leave them anyway
Load at 1-Oct-2012 15:57:15.00
Open tree /home/wolfe/pcs_scratch -1

TS went red, took the shot anyway because jwh has left the room
Result: plasma full length
Got TS anyway, RF ran almost clean, one J fault in the middle
Can see a drop in neuts on the J fault, but the 2MW at the eof
are hardly visible.

Next: Raise D&E, no PCS change

Oct 1 2012 04:28:37:043PM1121001026Steve Wolfe
Shot#26: Raise D&E to 2.5MW, same J,
no PCS changes

Oct 1 2012 04:41:21:800PM1121001027Steve Wolfe
Shot#27: Reduce TF_CURRENT to 134.4kA (4.8T)

Result: Plasma full length,
Ratty RF
Bt was still at 5.5T. I loaded it, but hadn't applied
the waveform change first.
Operator error.

Next: this time actually load with the TF changed

Oct 1 2012 04:52:04:693PM1121001028Steve Wolfe
Shot#28: Go to 4.8T (134.4kA on TF_CURRENT)
try that again

Increase TF_CURRENT to 154000,
increase pg5 (argon) to 200ms from 150ms
Pg2 waveform is zero
Drop nl04 to 6e19 at 0.5, then below zero
Load at 1-Oct-2012 17:14:00.00
Open tree /home/wolfe/pcs_scratch -1
Open tree done

Result: disrupted too early? 0.4sec
Too much argon, or I shouldn't have dropped the density?

Next: reduce pg5 to 100msec

Oct 1 2012 05:35:03:787PM1121001031Steve Wolfe
Shot#31: reduce pg5 to 100msec and try again for lm calibration

Shot#33:nl04 to 6e19 after 0.5sec, shorten the RF pulse tp end at
1 sec
Load at 1-Oct-2012 17:52:57.00
Open tree /home/wolfe/pcs_scratch -1
Open tree done

Result: plasma full length,
good neuts, Te close to 6keV at peak of st
nl04 falls through rf pulse, max of 8e19, gets down to 6e19 by the end.
GH limiter and shoelace didn't get too hot.
J ran clean, D and E had some faulting.

End of run

Before today's run, power supply's ground is set to reflectometry's rack. (For both RF and IF section.) For the ground of RF section, the power supply for new IF section is used. So, New IF section is turned off today. Then, CECE signals are still alived when J antenna is turned on.

GPI:

observed a D2 puff from the AB limiter nozzle using the
new WIDE2 view from K port horizontal. The puff shows up nicely
starting in frame 87. The poloidal and radial extend are visible.
The poloidal extent is roughly 28 vertical pixels, to be calibrated with the
knowledge that the gap in the AB limiter is 36 vertical pixels.
I should grab the actual framees and analyze them.

Also I what to compare the images with those of a He puff to see if
it is different (possibly due to the Franck-condon dissociation.
