R Childs, S Horne, G McCracken

This exercise is in support of MP 043
During run 950111 we carried out a series of neon injections into the
plasma through the B-side upper valve. The present run is to calibrate
the amount of neon injected. We set up the hybrid to enable the B-side
upper valve. We then set up the following trees,
Spectroscopy - to record the vlave voltage
Edge - to record the gauge data
Engineering
Hybrid
Most of the trees were disabled so that we only collected the necessary
data. It was also necessary to disable the fizzle detector. Just before
the shot the turbo pump valves GV1 and GV2 were closed to minimize the
pumping effects on the measured pressure. The cryopump valve GV1 was
shut throughout the run.

Jan 17 1995 06:27:56:580PMGary McCracken The pressure rises quoted were measured on the F-side ratiomatic. On
the last 2 pulses we got good measurement on the MKS side gauge which
indicated that with the standard ratiomatic calibration figure the
ratiomatics were reading about a factor 2 too low. A successful
calibration
