Seg1 only, plenum @5psi. No coldsatart this morning. NO GAS on ITG3 readout. Or on ratiomatic. Willie says he is not getting any input downstairs. The hybrid is putting out an output, but I don't understand it. It seems to have a negative level superposed on the drawen waveform. This is persent on the PID output, even though the gain seems to be zero. There are saturating signals, of both polarities, on the AOUT#5, not obviously related to the PID output. MOreover, the CAMAC trace from the gas board output seems to be different from what Willie sees on the scope. It turns out this is probably because it is digitized at 1kHz and his pulses are 300usec wide. |

Looks ok. The engineers say they see the problem with the over-voltage crowbar that made it not work yesterday. (OV C-B is out of the circuit now). CAMAC errors again on Magnetics, Hybrid, Spectroscopy. TWF is fixing. |

Run terry's routine to make sure the TV filter is OUT (view_discharge_cleaning) Secure the diagnostic labs. TF pulled out. TF crowbar at -.78sec, 45ka. Prepulse went ok, no a-side. Chops stop because fd cuts it off, we think. |

This time the gas driver goes berserk early. Raises pressure to .0005T Willy says it's "motor-boating", which apparently means that it is turning on full at 10% duty-cycle 1sec period. He also says that the input is looking at the wring AFOL output (fiber #3 instead of #4). For next shot, if any, turn off hybrid enable on A-side. |

Gas enable taken away from A-side. Put a short gas puff at t=0-.2 on PG4, in addition to the pre-pulse. The infamous magnet resistance fault. No 13.8kV supplies. B-top prepulse looks ok, no gas from second pulse at t=0. |

Add a 100V spike at t=0 to b-top program, to try to get enough gsa to see. Another TF crowbar. I see both gas puffs this time. t=0 pressure is probably still a little low, but I don't know if the ratiomatic calibration is the same. |
