following a protocol laid out in a memo by Wolfe (11-sep-1996) designed to reduce risks associated with putting current through the questionable connection. The immediate object is to get to a minimally faulted condition, i.e. a resistance of 1-2uOhm, and perform some additional tests in that state, prior to opening the machine. | |
