Continuation of MP 170A, restart operations.

After a slow start due to vessel temperature problems, we made progress on the
cleanup, with a total of 7 plasma shots. The best of these, shot 32, was a .8MA
shot which lasted 1.2 seconds, up until the beginning of current ramp-down. It
was vertically unstable at the end. An attempt to fix this, by reducing clearin
to -.01, was never tested; shot 40 did not last to end of flat-top.

The plasma are still resistive and radiative, but somewhat less so than last
week.

At the start of the day, the pre-fill puff was moved to -3.3 seconds; Shot 3,
which was the first plasma attempt, had a large fluorocarbon puff. After this,
the pre-puff was moved to -.5 s, where it remained for the rest of the run.

After the first plasma shot with current rise (shot 7), we had one fizzle,
followed by 20 minutes of ECDC in D2. This was not obviously either beneficial
or detrimental. During ECDC, mostly masses 18 and 20 were produced, presumably
due primarily to D_2O.

The pre-fill puffs were generally smaller than those used last week. This
parameter, along with the B_r offset, was tweaked through the day.

Shot 35 displayed an anomalous hybrid behavior which did not recur in tests or
the rest of the run. See Wolfe's logbook entries on this event.

Apparently the scanner stopped updating at some point. The wall temperatures dropped to
very negative (avg < -100C), and some ports froze up.

We are having a delay while the walls warm back up.

Looking for the imbalance in Br. It looks like EF2U is about 100A more negative than EF2L,
although both PHYS_A_OUT signals are close to zero, at -.1 sec. Therefter the Br gain may
be pushing toward further imbalance?
