Run 990813 was in support of MP 214 -- RF conditioning. The tube that was
in transmitter #2 was moved to transmitter #3 and this run was to be used to
check out the new configuration of tubes in transmitters. To this end, the
run produced too few plasmas to investigate whether or not the tube change
was successful.

The run began with a fizzle due to a very positive radial field. Then the
run was plagued by fizzles that were 'bouncers'. This condition was fought
by raising the prefill puff. However, this was not successful as evidenced
by the fizzle on the last shot. Also, there was about 15A difference in the
EF4 current between shots 11 and 12 for the same programming which may have
caused the fizzle.

Engineering, computing, and diagnostics today:
The EF1 supply looked good today - an inspection before the run
yielded no obvious problems. Once again, looking at the problem
made it disappear.
