Nominally MP 214 -- RF conditioning
However, did some ohmic H-modes as well for several other science programs:
Edge Fluctuation imaging, Puffing probe plumes, Omegatron, with RF using
the end of the shot.

Summary
_______
Started late at 1pm because of RF work and ran till 6pm.

Shots 1-5 similar to previous runs this week. After fixing fizzle problems
possibly associated with the controller updates, got 2.3MW into
plasma. Saw an H-mode apparantly induced by RF.

Shots 6-21 ohmic H-modes from 1.03MA (shot 7) to 1.129MA
(16-21). There were still numerous injections, which did not seem
necessarily to be related to RF, since RF was only allowed from .9s to
1.25s. Iron was present, although it is not clear how bad that is.

EDA behaviour of density and radiation could not be obtained even when the
RF was on. ELM-free accumulation was occuring.

H-modes were recovered even with Bt up to 5.1T, q=3.5 in the later parts of
some shots even without RF. This seems to indicate that once you have got
an H-mode by running the field down, it is easier to get it later in the
same shot even at higher field.

Some shots had peculiar MHD behaviour after the reversion to L-mode which
would bear investigation.

Also the "internal barrier" behaviour induced by H-L transitions was observed
on some shots.

Call rcur. It works fine. Must have been an mds bug due to retrieval
from the juke-box. Wolfe reports this type of problem has occurred before.

Noticed that the algorithm string was not updated. Did that and made over
the version.

Call again. No, that does not work, probably it's already compiled.

Restart PCS. Call rcur. ok.

Call Br. ok. Load.

Now we have called the two segment one controllers that are changed by
the f29dead problem. I am leaving segment 2 because the changes ought to
be tiny there and I don't want to do too much at once.

I guess I should have turned of the feedback as well.

RF stays on nicely at about 1.5MW. Seems as if it might be heating
but does not send the plasma back into H-mode.
