(on the PSFC Network)
- Start > Run >
"\\Video4\Presentations\ideas2005"
- If prompted,
authenticate with either your LINUX/Windows username and password, or the
presenter username and password appropriate for video4.
- Drag your
presentation into the folder and make sure that it is named correctly
("Ideas05_LastName_First-two-words-in-title.ext"). Examples:
- Ideas05_coppi_high-beta.ppt
- Ideas05_murakami_lh-scaling.pdf
MAC (on the PSFC Network)
- Finder > Go >
Connect to server
- Address=smb://Video4.psfc.mit.edu/Presentations
- Enter your LINUX
username and password
- Open the Network Icon
for Presentations which appears on the desktop
- Select the Ideas2005
folder
- Drag your presentation
into the folder and make sure that it is named correctly
("Ideas05_LastName_First-two-words-in-title.ext").
FTP
- ftp to
Video4.psfc.mit.edu
- login or set user id
to presenter
- enter the appropriate
password
- (Do not fill in the
Directory box if using Fetch.)
- Find the directory
for Ideas2005
- Place your
presentation into the folder, making sure it follows the naming
convention "Ideas05_LastName_First-two-words-in-title.ext"
