TRANSP 2211

Power Spectrum

Comments:
This case fixes bogus TRANSP 2190. It uses 50 rays, TORIC, and equilibrium solver VMEC6. Reverse shear is maintained until about 0.4s. q(0) drops to 1 at 0.7s. Strong shear is exhibited throughout. This run has a much higher bootstrap fraction than others, max fbs = 0.25. For more information about the run see the input namelist.

The image below plots the total current vs time. Overplotted is the central density. This clearly shows the effect that when the density increases the LH current decreases, and thus the ohmic current must increase.

Integrated Current with Central Density
Legend:
Total Current: White
Lower Hybrid: Red
Ohmic Current: Green
Bootstrap Current: Blue
Electron Density: Cyan

The figure below shows the actual power spectrum from the TRANSP output.
