The PSFC is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to contribute to the development and implementation of advanced plasma diagnostic systems for magnetic fusion experiments; focus on plasma reflectometry and related millimeter-wave technologies, including systems to be deployed in the SPARC tokamak; design, test, and operate millimeter-wave and reflectometry systems for plasma measurements; develop data acquisition and analysis tools; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams at MIT and partner institutions on diagnostic integration and commissioning; and contribute to publications and conference presentations in the field of fusion diagnostics.
