1989-2016 Responsible for three major engineering systems on C-Mod: Vacuum Vessel Heaters, Cryogenic Thermocouples, and TF Magnet Voltage Taps. 1992-2016 Developed fiber optic communication links for C-Mod Instrumentation and Control: DFOL’s, AFOL’s, and SFOL’s (for digital, analog, and serial data). 1998 Developed Felt Metal Soldering Procedures for maintenance and repair of the C-Mod TF Magnet. 2000 Redesigned and built new Ratiomatic Ion Gauges to measure fast pressure changes in the C-Mod torus. 2003-2010 Engineering support for the Active MHD Experiment on C-Mod. 2007 Designed and installed an OH Force Interlock to protect the C-Mod Magnets from dangerous operating conditions. 2008-2013 Engineering support for the Emissive Probe Diagnostic on C-Mod. 2010 Fiber Optic Timing Validation Infrastructure for C-Mod Data Acquisition. 2011-2016 Engineering support for the QCM Experiment on C-Mod. 2016-2023 Engineering support for the CECE and Reflectometer plasma turbulence diagnostics on ASDEX Upgrade.
